Printable Tattoo Designs Online — Are They Worth It?

By lonnieis | Tuesday, April 22nd, 2008 | Printable Tattoo Designs

Tattoos are growing in popularity. A Harris Poll, done in 2003, estimates that 16% of Americans have one or more tattoos. And with websites popping up with thousands of printable tattoo designs like Chopper Tattoo, and Tattoo Me Now, you can see that it has now reached the digital age, which benefits anyone searching for that perfect tattoo.

Tattoos as an emerging art form let people define who they are. But some people regret and will regret getting them, because they didn’t put enough time and research into finding the right tattoo. And even though you can get tattoos removed, it can be painful to your body and bank account.

If you don’t want to regret the tattoo you get there are a few things you should do first before rushing to the tattoo parlor.

Don’t be afraid to spend some money looking for the perfect tattoo. Never base your decision on money when it comes to finding your tattoo or paying an artist. The cheaper artists and parlors usually produce poor quality tattoos.

Take your time finding your dream design. By joining a few online printable tattoo design websites you can find the perfect design you have in mind. Once you find the tattoo you can print it out and sit down with your tattoo artist to help you modify it if you want to. Some sites even let you print out a temporary tattoo to test drive. Also If you get a small tattoo you can always add more to it later.

Tattoos should be picked with care, because they will be with you forever. You won’t regret your choice if you put the time and effort into finding your dream design. The design you choose should be meaningful, remind you of someone important, or just make you feel better about yourself. And even if how you define yourself changes over time, you can be proud of the tattoo you chose that represented a time in your life.
